Tips and Techniques
Many climbers have e-mailed us asking for information about systems and methods we teach and use. This section of our website is provided to give some information about our courses and provide experienced climbers with strategies that can be used in their climbing. The goal of CGI is to teach climbers skills that will allow them to climb efficiently while minimizing risks.
These articles cannot replace the courses we teach but we hope they will give you an idea of what we teach and how we approach some of the challenging decision making situations faced in climbing. It is also important to realize that these articles cover general concepts and cannot take into consideration all the variables that need to be addressed when choosing a technique or strategy.
