Day 2 Argentière to Argentière Hut
This day's route begins with the ascent of the Grands Montets by the lifts coming from Argentiere which is just off the upper left-hand corner of the map. This is followed by a fun downhill (past some spectacular seracs) and then across the glacial basin to the hut . The views to the south of the Aiguille Verte, Les Droites and other peaks are amazing! The shaded relief, coloring and details in these Swiss maps make them the best we've seen anywhere.
