Chauvin Guides International offers private guiding, courses, and group instruction for anyone interested in ski mountaineering and backcountry ski tours. CGI offers a number of backcountry ski programs and avalanche courses for the skier looking for great skiing opportunities outside the boundaries of a ski area. This year extend your ski season by making some runs high up on Mt. Washington where it's possible in the right conditions to ski from your car to the summit and back without ever having to carry your skis! Programs include guided ski tours, ski camps, and instruction at all levels, both locally and internationally. Local tours include trips into Tuckerman Ravine, The Gulf of Slides, Oakes Gulf, and on the Sherburne Ski Trail. All clients are provided with avalanche beacons, shovels, and probes and are trained in their use prior to a tour.
